Overview of the application process
Once an application is received, an automated email will be sent to the email address provided on the application. If something is missing that is needed to complete the application, we will send a follow-up email.
Each application is thoroughly reviewed by the Admissions Committee before a final decision is rendered. We have no set “formulas” we follow when we review applications. Countless hours are devoted to the task of ensuring that every application is reviewed thoroughly and that every applicant has received full consideration in the admissions process.
Processing time may be extended if certain required documents are missing. Therefore, we recommend that ALL documents are sent in one package/envelope to avoid any unnecessary delays.

2. Print, complete, and mail your application form
You should print these forms and follow the instructions to complete them. The forms contain information about the mailing address to which the application and required documents should be sent. We recommend you use a special courier such as FedEx, DHL, or UPS when mailing your application.
International applicants who choose to apply online must complete the Application and submit ALL the required admission materials. The application fee will be waived for all students (graduate and undergraduate).
A deadline is the last possible date the university will review an application for admission into a particular semester. You may submit your application for admission up to twelve months in advance of the semester in which you wish to begin your studies at UB.
To meet our application deadline, we strongly recommend that you apply as soon as possible, as we receive a high volume of applications throughout the year.
Spring deadline: December 1
Fall deadline: July 15
It is highly recommended that you apply and submit ALL the required admission materials at least one month before the deadlines.
